Provided by the University of Koblenz and Landau the course “Bachelor of Education in Teacher Education” is with a duration of six semesters. Accredited by AQAS, the bachelor offers teacher training courses for all types of schools such as Elementary schools, special schools, High schools or Vocational schools. The first four semesters start with the subject of educational sciences and two specialist subjects while from the fifth semester onwards the course is primarily geared towards the respective school-type-specific focus. The internship during the “Bachelor of Education in Teacher Education” provides to the participants an insight into everyday working life and gives the opportunity to check their personal suitability and inclination for the teaching profession.
