Offered by the University of Koblenz and Landau the study course “Master of Science in Web and Data Science” is with a duration of four semesters. During their study, the participants expand the specialist knowledge as well as the ability to make judgments and make decisions. The course focuses primarily on computer science in order to impart basic knowledge about the technical structures of the web and its analysis as well as the analysis of the changes by providing to the prospective students an interdisciplinary content that enables to understand people on the web along with their actions and their interactions. Entirely English-taught, the master degree prepares the graduates for independent academic work while imparting the ability to conduct complex tasks responsibly with a focus on both scientific soundness and intellectual independence.
