The “Bachelor of Arts in American Studies” is a 6-semester program conducted in English. It is also available as a part-time study, suitable for applicants who wish to combine work and learning. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses divided into three core areas: Literature and Culture, Society, History, and Politics, and Language and Society. Additionally, participants can personalise their studies by carrying out elective modules. Throughout their education, students receive in-depth theoretical and practical education. The BA is research-oriented and provides participants with the social, methodological, and analytical skills needed for them to plan and conduct scientific work on their own. Graduates are qualified to pursue leadership positions in international companies or cultural organizations, NGOs, publishing houses, media, or academic research. The BA is an excellent foundation for a later Master’s degree.
