The “Master of Arts in American Studies” is a 4-semester program conducted in English. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Leipzig. The course is also available as a part-time study, suitable for applicants who wish to further their education and continue their professional activities at the same time. Throughout their studies, participants will gain in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge in the Society, Culture, History, Literature and Politics of the USA. Additionally, they’ll have the opportunity to carry out elective modules and diversify their education. The MA is application-oriented and provides students with the methodological and analytical skills needed to carry out projects independently. The program prepares graduates for careers in international companies or cultural organizations, NGOs, media, publishing houses, academic research, etc.
