The “Master of Arts in Ancient Oriental Studies” is a 4-semester program conducted in German. It is designed for applicants with a corresponding Bachelor’s degree who wish to further their qualifications. Throughout their studies, participants will dive deep into the languages, history, and cultures of the Orient in pre-Christian times. Additionally, they’ll have the opportunity to tailor their education to their interests by undertaking elective modules. The MA is research-oriented and provides students with the needed skills to successfully plan and present scientific work. Also, participants will acquire hands-on experience and key competencies that prepare them for day-to-day operations. Graduates are qualified to pursue positions in publishing, radio, television, libraries, diplomatic service, etc.
