The “Bachelor of Arts in Arabic and Islamic Studies” is a German-taught program with a duration of 6-semesters. It is also offered as a part-time study, suitable for applicants who wish to further their qualifications and work at the same time. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses with a focus on Arabic Training, History and Culture of the Islamic World, Arabic Linguistics And Translation Studies, Islamic Law, and more. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to diversify their education by undertaking elective modules. The BA is application-oriented and provides participants with hands-on experience and key competencies needed for day-to-day operations. Furthermore, the program offers students the opportunity to study a semester abroad or take up an internship. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to pursue leadership positions in Diplomacy and the Civil Service, NGOs, Development Cooperation, Journalism, Cultural Institutions, and more. The BA is also an excellent foundation for a later Master’s degree.
