Description
The “Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology and History of Ancient Europe” is a German-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. It is also available as a part-time study suitable for applicants who wish to combine work and education. The curriculum consists of multifaceted courses divided into 3 core areas - Ancient History, Classical Archeology, and Prehistory and Early History of Europe. Through various study cases and application-oriented seminars, students will acquire a fundamental understanding of analysis, assessment and interpretation of sites, excavation documentation, visual and textual forms of communication, and more. They’ll also gain hands-on experiance and key competencies. The BA prepares graduates for work in cultural institutions, publishing, print and digital media, tourism, adult education, etc. Graduates can also pursue a later Master’s degree.
