The “Master of Science in Biochemistry” is a 4-semester program conducted in German and English. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Leipzig. The course is also available as a part-time study designed for applicants who wish to combine working and learning. The aim of the program is to deepen the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. The MSc offers participants specific courses to focus on such as Electrobiotechnology, RNA Biochemistry, Neurochemistry, Medical Physics, and Anthropology. Throughout their education, students will acquire hands-on experience and industry-specific skills needed for day-to-day operations. The MSc prepares graduates for work in Universities and Industrial Research, Science Journalism, Clinical Monitoring, Environmental Advice and Management, Process and Product Development, etc. Graduates can also opt for a later doctoral degree.
