The “Master of Science in Bioinformatics” is a German-taught program with a duration of 4 semesters. It is designed for applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s degree who wish to further their qualifications. The course is also available as a part-time study. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses such as Sequence Analysis and Genomics, Bioinformatics of RNA and Protein Structures, Graphs and Networks, Theoretical Biology, Statistical Learning, Modeling and Programming, and Algorithms and Data Structures. Throughout their education, students will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. The MSc is research-oriented and provides participants with the methodological, technical, and analytical skills needed for them to carry out scientific work independently. Graduates are qualified for work in biotechnology, reaction, and substance databases, visualization of chemical structures, and more.
