The “Bachelor of Science in Biology” is a German-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. It is also offered as a part-time study suitable for applicants who wish to combine work and education. In the first semesters, students will dive deep into the fundamentals of Mathematics, Physics, and Inorganic and Organic Chemistry. Later on, they’ll go into more complex subjects such as General and Special Zoology and Ecology, General Botany, Botanical Systematics, Genetics, and Animal and Plant Physiology. Additionally, participants can personalise their studies by undertaking elective modules. Throughout their education, participants will acquire hands-on experience as well as key competencies needed on a day-to-day basis. The BSc qualified graduates for positions in the fields of Quality Control, Biotechnology, Product Development, Marketing, Medical Technology, Pharmacy, etc. Graduates can also pursue a consecutive Master’s degree.
