The “Master of Science in Computer Science” is a German-taught program with a duration of 4 semesters. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Leipzig. The course is also available as a part-time study. The aim of the MSc is to solidify the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. The curriculum includes multifaceted courses in Theoretical Computer Science, Practical Computer Science, Technical Computer Science, and Applied Computer Science. Furthermore, the program offers participants the opportunity to select a focus area and set their career paths early on. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, students will acquire hands-on experience and develop the analytical, creative, and technical skills needed for a successful career. Graduates are qualified to pursue managerial positions in the fields of industry, business, the state, and society.
