The “Master of Arts in Conference Interpreting Arabic” is a 4-semester program taught mainly in German. It is suitable for applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s degree or a Diploma. The course is available as a part-time study as well. The aim of the program is to deepen the knowledge of students and provide them with practical relevance. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses such as Basics of Translatology, Linguistics and Translation Studies, Interpreting German - Arabic, Interpreting Arabic - German, Translation, Interpreting Science/Rhetoric, etc. Additionally, participants can diversify their studies by taking up elective modules. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, students will acquire hands-on experience, industry-specific skills, and key competencies. Occupational possibilities include work in Diplomatic Service, State Institutions and Authorities, NGOs, Security Policy Sector, Development Cooperation, Journalism, Science and Research.
