The “Master of Arts in Conference Interpreting” is a 4-semester program conducted mainly in German. It is designed for individuals with a corresponding Bachelor’s degree or a Diploma who wish to further their qualifications. The course is also available as a part-time study. The program aims to deepen the knowledge of students and broaden their professional horizons. Throughout their education, participants will focus on acquiring language proficiency in two out of three foreign languages - English, French, or Spanish. They’ll also focus on industry-specific skills and abilities required for the process of interpretation. Furthermore, the program promotes personal growth and the development of soft skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, leadership, moderation, etc. Professional activities include simultaneous interpreting, interpreting specialist texts, translation of conference texts, legal interpreting, interpreting technologies, etc.
