The “Master of Arts in Cultural Studies” is a 4-semester program conducted in German and English. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Leipzig. The course is available as a part-time study as well. It aims to broaden the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. The MA offers participants four specialisations to choose from - Cultural Philosophy, Cultural History, Cultural Sociology or Cultural Management. Throughout their education, students will receive extensive theoretical and practical training. They’ll acquire hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills needed for the dynamic working environment. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to pursue positions in the public and private fields of culture, art, media, as well as carry out charitable foundation work.
