The “Master of Science in Data Science” is a 4-semester program conducted in German and English. It is designed for individuals with a corresponding degree who wish to further their competencies. The course is also offered as a part-time study. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses with a focus on Scalable Data Management, Data Analysis, Bioinformatics, Digital Humanities, Statistics, and Applied Computer Science. Additionally, participants can diversify their studies by undertaking elective modules. The MSc is application-oriented and provides students with vast theoretical knowledge, hands-on experience, and industry-specific skills. Additionally, the program promotes self-growth and the development of soft skills. Upon completion of the program, graduates are prepared to assume leadership positions in IT companies, banks and insurance companies, trading industry, bio, pharmaceutical, and medical industries, as well as research and teaching.
