Description
The state examination program “Dentistry“ offered at the Leipzig University is German-taught and lasts 10 semesters and 6 months. The educational course is divided into pre-clinical and clinical phase. In the pre-clinical phase, students will focus on Natural Science, Human Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Latin, and more. In the clinical phase, they’ll dive deep into subjects of dentistry and dentures, and learn how to implement their knowledge into practice. The program is both research- and application-oriented, providing participants with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and key competencies. They can also carry out a semester abroad and broaden their perspectives. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to pursue a career in Medical, orthopaedic, and rehabilitation technology, pharmaceutical advice and sales, and health authorities, health insurance companies and dentists' associations, and research and development.
