The “Bachelor of Science in Digital Humanities” is a 6-semester program conducted in German and English. It is also offered as a part-time study ideal for applicants who wish to combine work and education. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in Modeling And Programming, Algorithms and Data Structures, Database Systems, Linguistic Computer Science, Digital Humanities, Digital Philology, and more. Additionally, participants can take up elective modules and diversify their studies. Throughout their education, students will receive extensive theoretical and practical training. They’ll acquire hands-on experience, key competencies, and industry-specific skills needed for a successful career. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume leadership positions in Cultural Heritage Institutions, Publishing, Media, Public Relations and Cultural Mediation, Education, Software Development, Research, etc. They can also opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
