The “Bachelor of Arts in East Slavic Studies” is a 6-semester program conducted mainly in German. It is also offered as a part-time study suitable for applicants who wish to balance out their careers, education, and private lives. Throughout their education, students will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training in Eastern Slavic languages, mainly in Russian and Ukrainian.  Additionally, participants can undertake elective modules and diversify their studies. The BA offers students the opportunity to set their career paths early on by choosing a focus area in Linguistics or Literary Studies/Cultural History. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, participants will acquire practical relevance and key competencies. The BA prepares graduates for positions in Culture and Science Management, Cultural Exchange, Journalism, Media, Publishing, Cultural Institutions, Foreign Trade and Trade, etc. They can also pursue a subsequent Master’s degree.
