The “Master of Science in Economics” is a 4-semester program conducted in English and German. It is suitable for applicants who have a relevant Bachelor’s degree or a Diploma. It is also offered as a part-time study. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Econometrics and Statistics and International Economics. Students also have the opportunity to set their career paths and choose a field of study. Specialisations available are Applied Econometrics, Development Economics, Environment and Sustainability, Money, Credit and Banking, and Economic Policy. The MSc is research-oriented and provides participants with the social, methodological, and analytical skills needed to carry out scientific work independently. Graduates can pursue leadership positions in banks, insurance companies, ministries, foreign offices, international organisations and NGOs, and more.
