Description
The “Bachelor of Arts in European Minority Languages” is a 6-semester program conducted in German and English. It is available as a part-time study as well. Throughout their education, students will focus on Minority Research, Statistics, Celtology, Sociology/Ethnology, and other minority languages. Additionally, they’ll have the opportunity to take up elective modules and personalise their studies. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, the BA prepares participants for the challenging environment of the profession. Students will acquire hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills required for a successful career. The BA prepares graduates for work in Scientific, Cultural, or Socio-Political Institutions, Museums, Libraries, Journalism and Media, Language Maintenance and Language Teaching, and more. They can also pursue a consecutive Master’s degree.
