The binational Master’s program "Master of Arts in German as a Foreign and Second Language in the Vietnamese-German Context“ offered at the University of Leipzig is taught in German and English for a duration of 4 semesters. It is designed for applicants with a corresponding Bachelor’s degree who wish to further their education. The course is also available as part-time study. The curriculum includes multifaceted courses with a focus on the Vietnamese Language and Culture, Philosophy, Research Methods, Contrastive Linguistics, German Semantics, German Pragmatics, and Intercultural Communication. Additionally, students can personalise their education by choosing from various elective modules. The MA is research-oriented and provides participants with the social, methodological, and technical skills needed to carry out scientific work independently. Graduates are qualified to work in Adult Education, Foreign Service, Media and Publishing, Cultural Management and Cultural Exchange, and Research and Development.
