The “Bachelor of Arts in German as a Foreign and Second Language” is a German-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. It is also offered as a part-time study suitable for applicants who wish to combine work and education. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses with a focus on the Lexicology of Contemporary German, Didactics and Methodology of German, Phonetics, Phonology, and Rhetoric, Cultural studies, Grammar, Performance Measurement, and more. Students can undertake elective modules and diversify their education. The BA is application-oriented and provides participants with hands-on experience and subject-specific skills. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to pursue positions in Adult Education, Media and Publishing, Cultural Management and Cultural Exchange, Foreign Business Relations, etc. Graduates can also opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
