Description


The double degree Master’s program „Master of Arts in German as a Foreign Language in a German-African Context is 4 semesters long and taught in German and English. It is suitable for applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s degree or Diploma. The course is offered as a part-time study as well. Throughout their education, students will acquire extensive knowledge in Africa in German-language Literature, Language, Society, and Culture, Multilingualism, Didactics and Methodology, Cultural Studies, and more. The MA is research-oriented and provides participants with the methodological and analytical skills required for the successful planning and presentation of projects. Additionally, the MA promotes personal growth and the development of soft skills. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to pursue careers in education and publishing, cultural mediation, international organizations, and foreign business relations.
