The “Bachelor of Arts in German Studies” is a German-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. It is also available as a part-time study suitable for applicants who wish to combine their careers and education. The curriculum is divided into 2 core areas - Linguistics and Literary Studies. Compulsory modules are i.e. German Linguistics, Historical German Linguistics, German Language System, Linguistic Communication and Linguistic Variation, German Literature, Literary Theory, Children's and Youth Literature, and more. Additionally, students can undertake elective modules and personalise their education. Throughout their studies, participants will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. They’ll also acquire hands-on experience and key competencies. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to pursue a career in Publishing, Journalism, Public Relations, Media, Business Consulting, Event Management, Language Teaching in Adult Education, and Tourism. They can also opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
