The “Master of Arts in German Studies” is a 4-semester program conducted in German. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Leipzig. The course is available as a part-time study as well. The aim of the program is to deepen the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. Throughout their education, participants must choose a focus area between Literary Studies and Linguistics. The MA is application-oriented and provides students with hands-on experience and subject-specific skills. Furthermore, the program promotes self-growth and the development of soft skills such as leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, communication and organisation, and more. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to handle complex tasks and assume positions in Science and Research Institutions, Journalism and Media, Public Relations, Publishing, Business Consulting, Event Management, Tourism, Adult Education, etc.
