The “Master of Arts in Global Mass Communication” is a 4-semester program conducted in German and English. It is designed for individuals with a corresponding Bachelor’s degree or a Diploma. The course is offered as a part-time study as well. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses with a focus on Qualitative and Quantitative Methods, Media Economics, American Studies, Mass Communication Theory, Media Law, Qualitative Methods, Writing and Reporting, etc. Throughout their education, students will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. Also, the MA is research-oriented and provides participants with the social, methodological, and analytical skills required to carry out scientific work independently. Furthermore, participants will focus on personal growth and the development of soft skills needed for day-to-day operations. Graduates are qualified to assume managerial positions in international journalism and international mass communication, media, and academic research.
