The “Master of Science in International Physics Studies” is an English-taught program with a duration of 4 semesters. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Leipzig. The course is available as a part-time study as well. It aims to deepen the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. Students have the opportunity to select a focus area between Experimental Physics of Soft or Solid Matter, Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, and Applied Physics. The program is application-oriented and provides participants with practical relevance, industry-specific skills, and professional core competencies. It prepares graduates to handle complex situations and assume leadership positions in Mechanical Engineering, Optics, Industrial Chemical Engineering, Communication Technology, Microelectronics, Scientific and Medical Device Construction, Precision Mechanics, and more.
