The “Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics” is a 6-semester program conducted in German. It is also offered as a part-time study, suitable for applicants who wish to work and learn simultaneously. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses divided into 3 core areas - Grammar Theory, Language Typology, and Experimental Approaches to Grammar. Additionally, students can choose from a plethora of elective modules and personalise their education. Through various case studies and seminars, participants will not only gain extensive theoretical knowledge but also practical relevance. They’ll acquire subject-specific competencies and develop soft skills such as teamwork, leadership, project management, problem-solving, etc. Upon completion of the program, graduates can work in Speech Recognition, Design and Adaptation of Dialogue Systems, Advertising, Publishing, Digital Media, Public Relations, Diagnosis and Therapy of Speech Disorders, etc. They can also opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
