Description


The “Master of Arts in Lower Sorbian” is a 4-semester program conducted in German. It is designed for applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s degree or a Diploma. The course is also available as a part-time study, suitable for individuals who wish to work and learn at the same time. Throughout their education, students will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses with a focus on Sorbian Linguistics, Literature and Culture, minorities and cultures in united Europe, and more. Additionally, participants can tailor their studies to their interests by undertaking elective modules. The MA is application-oriented and provides students with practical relevance, key competencies, and subject-specific skills. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to work in cultural institutions, as well as research and teaching.
