The “Master of Science in Medical Informatics” is a 4-semester program conducted in German and English. It is designed for applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s degree who wish to further their education. The course is available as a part-time study as well. Its focal point is to deepen the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses with a focus on medical signal and image processing, assistive health technologies, decision support in medicine, computer-assisted surgery, and health information systems and their management. The MSc is application-oriented and provides participants with practical relevance, industry-specific skills, and key competencies. Graduates are prepared to handle complex tasks and assume leadership positions in medical care and research facilities, or other health care institutions, IT and consulting companies, and universities.
