Description
The “Bachelor of Science in Meteorology” is a German-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. It is available as a part-time study as well, ideal for applicants who wish to further their education without having to pause their careers. The curriculum includes multifaceted courses with a focus on Mathematics, Physics, General Meteorology, Climatology, Theoretical Meteorology, Synoptic Meteorology, etc. Additionally, students can personalise their education by undertaking elective modules. The program is application-oriented and aims to provide participants with hands-on experiance, industry-specific skills, and key competencies. Students will also have the opportunity to study a semester abroad and broaden their perspectives. The BSc prepares graduates for a career in Weather and Climate Services, Weather Information and Presentation, Renewable Energy, Environmental Protection and Environmental Management, Air pollution Control and Noise Protection, Meteorological and Climate Reports, etc. They can also pursue a consecutive Master’s degree.
