The “Master of Arts in Middle and Modern History” is a German-taught program with a duration of 4 semesters. It is also offered as a part-time study, suitable for applicants who wish to further their educations without having to pause their careers. The aim of the program is to solidify the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. Throughout their education, students will acquire extensive theoretical and practical knowledge in historical auxiliary sciences, medieval history and the history of modern times, and more. Additionally, students can take up elective modules and personalise their education. The MSc is application-oriented and aims to provide participants with hands-on experiance and professional core competencies. Furthermore, the program promotes the development of soft skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, communication and organisation, moderation, etc. The MSc prepares graduates for Research and Cultural Institutions, European Administrations, Culture and Science Journalism, Publishing, Marketing, Public Administration, etc.
