The “Bachelor of Arts in Musicology” is a German-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. It is also available as a part-time study, ideal for individuals who wish to further their education without pausing their careers. The curriculum includes multifaceted courses in Music History, Music Sociology and Philosophy, Composition, Instrument Science and Acoustics, and more. Additionally, participants can personalise their studies by taking up elective modules. Through various group projects and application-oriented seminars, students acquire hands-on experiance and industry-specific skills that prepare them for the real-life working environment. Upon completion of the BA, graduates are qualified to pursue positions at research and editing institutes, music colleges and universities, cultural institutions, media houses, music production, etc. They can also opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
