The “Bachelor of Arts in Political Science” is a 6-semester program conducted in German and English. It is offered as a part-time study as well, suitable for applicants who wish to further their education without having to pause their professional activities. The curriculum consists of multifaceted courses with the main topics on the History of Ideas, Political Theories and Research on Democracy, the Political Systems of the Federal Republic of Germany and Europe, International Relations and Approaches to Civic Education, etc. Students also have the opportunity to choose from a plethora of elective modules and personalise their education. The BA is research-oriented and provides them with the social, methodological, and analytical skills needed to successfully carry out scientific work. The program prepares graduates for the dynamic environment of the field and qualifies them for leadership positions in Political Education, Party-affiliated Foundations, Corporate Management, International Organizations and Institutions, Media, and more.
