The Master’s degree program “Master of Arts in Professionalization of Early Childhood Education“ offered at the University of Leipzig is 4 semesters long and taught in German and English. It is suitable for applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s degree who wish to broaden their professional horizons. The course is also available as a part-time study. Its aim is to deepen the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses in Professional Action, Conversation and Advice, Learning and Teaching in the Life Course, Elementary Didactics, and Educational Quality. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, participants will acquire hands-on experience and industry-specific skills.
