The “Master of Science in Psychology” is a 4-semester program conducted in German. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the University of Leipzig. The course is available as a part-time study as well. Its focal point is to deepen the knowledge of students and provide them with practice work. Throughout their education, participants will focus on Evaluation and Research Methodology and Psychological Diagnostics and Assessment. The MSc is research-oriented and provides students with the social, methodological, and analytical skills needed to carry out scientific work independently. Additionally, through various case studies, group projects and application-oriented seminars, participants will acquire hands-on experience and key competencies. The MSc prepares graduates for work in Health care facilities, educational institutions, social services and welfare organizations, psychological services in the employment offices, youth welfare institutions, research centres, etc. They can also opt for a consecutive PhD degree.
