The teacher training course “Teaching Czech at Grammar Schools“ is a German-taught program with a duration of 10 semesters. It is also offered as a part-time study, suitable for individuals who wish to combine working and learning. The curriculum consists of multifaceted courses in Subject Didactics and Methodology, General Slavic and specifically Bohemian Linguistics, Literary Studies and Cultural History, and Intercultural Communication. Additionally, students can choose from a plethora of elective modules and diversify their education. Throughout their studies, participants will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. They’ll acquire hands-on experience and key competencies needed for the dynamic working environment of the profession. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume teaching positions in Czech at high schools.
