Description
The teacher training course “Teaching Music at Primary Schools“ is 8 semesters long and conducted in German. Throughout their education, students will receive in-depth artistic-practical, music-pedagogical, music-didactic, and musicological training. They’ll learn a second instrument and focus on singing, practical piano playing in schools, music theory, and choir conducting. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to diversify their education by taking up elective modules. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, students will gain hands-on experiance and professional core competencies. Additionally, the program promotes the development of soft skills such as problem-solving, decision-making, moderation, teamwork, etc. Upon completion of the vocational training, graduates are prepared to handle complex situations and assume teaching positions in Music at primary schools.
