The full-time teacher training course “Teaching Music at Secondary Schools“ is German-taught and lasts 9 semesters. Throughout their education, students will receive sound artistic-practical, music-pedagogical, music-didactic and musicological training. Through various application-oriented seminars, participants will get prepared for the dynamic environment of the profession and learn how to handle complex situations. They’ll acquire hands-on experience, subject-specific skills, and key competencies needed for a successful career. Upon completion of the vocational course, graduates are qualified to assume teaching positions in Music at secondary schools.
