The “Master of Arts in Technical Translation Arabic-German” is a 4-semester program conducted mainly in German. It is suitable for applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s degree who wish to further their education. The course is available as a part-time study as well. Throughout their studies, participants will focus on Linguistics, Translation Studies, Translation as Intercultural Communication, Terminology Science and Terminography, Project and Translation Management, Translation Tools, Documentation and Translation Quality, and Labor Market and Price. The MA is application-oriented and aims to provide students with hands-on experience and industry-specific skills. Furthermore, the program promotes personal growth and the development of soft skills needed for a successful career. Graduates are qualified to work in the field of intercultural specialist communication in the Arabic-German language or go into research and teaching.
