The “Master of Arts in Translatology” is a 4-semester program conducted mainly in German. It is designed for applicants with a relevant Bachelor’s degree or a Diploma who wish to further their education. The course is also offered as a part-time study. Throughout their studies, participants will focus on terminological, lexicographical and translational methods, work equipment and technologies, quality and project management, and more. They’ll receive extensive theoretical and practical training. The MA offers students various case studies and application-oriented seminars in which they’ll learn how to implement their vast knowledge into practice. Furthermore, the program promotes the development of key competencies and soft skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, leadership, moderation, etc. The MA prepares graduates for complex tasks and qualifies them for managerial positions in translation and interpretation offices, language data and translation management, language advice or technical editing, and more.
