Description
The English-taught one-year advanced program “Master of Comparative Business Law” offered by the University of Mannheim provides a comprehensive grasp of business law aspects of the European and Global markets. Applicants need to have a degree in law or similar background in law. Students will gain a rigorous understanding of the European Union`s legal system as well as the players in international trade law. In the first semester, the emphasis will be put on European business law, whereas during the second semester- on international business law. Great lecturers, including law professors, judges and managers, teach students in a broad spectrum of classes. Additionally, there are trips to the European Court of Justice, the World Trade Organization and etc. Graduates are qualified for many legal positions. Past students have built careers as Global Category Manager at Heidelberg Cement, as Junior Lawyer at Kuwait Airways or in the Legal Global Corporate Banking Department of Santander Bank.
