The Bachelor degree “Bachelor of Arts in Culture and Economy: German Studies” offered by the University of Mannheim is a combination program with an emphasize on German Studies, during which part students learn Linguistics, German Literary and Media studies. To the comprehensive theory, there are also more practical subjects which educate participants journalistic skills. Incorporated to the program, there are Business English courses, too. As a combination major, students can choose either Business Administration or Economics. Courses in finance, management and accounting are part of the Business Administration classes. As part of the Economic minor, statistics and macro- and microeconomics are studied. Graduates can work in the fields of Business consultancy, marketing, sales, Publishing. They have gained broad-spectrum knowledge about communication, economics, and business administration.
