The three-year program “Bachelor of Arts in Culture and Economy: Philosophy`` offered by the University of Mannheim provides a combination course of study, compound of Philosophy as major and a minor, which students have two options for – either Business Administration or Economics. Through the classes in Philosophy topics concerning self – identity of humans, their relationships with the worlds and etc. will be lectured and discussed. History of philosophy as well as ethical and moral philosophical questions will be addressed, too. Also incorporated into the program are classes in Business English. Courses in finance, management and accounting are part of the Business Administration classes. As part of the Economic minor, statistics and macro- and microeconomics are studied. Graduates finishing the degree have comprehensive understanding of the economic ideas and processes. As one of the program`s main topics is business ethics, graduates with a Bachelor which incorporates Philosophy and Economics are in high demand in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility.
