The two-year program “Master of Arts in Culture and Economy: Philosophy” offered by the University of Mannheim deepen students` gained knowledge through the Bachelor` s program. The focus is set on the major – Philosophy, whereas only one third of the program is emphasized on the Business Administration or Economics. The classes in Philosophy emphasize on themes that combine philosophy, society and business. For the elective module students can choose interdisciplinary specializations, in accordance to their interests. Based on their previous knowledge, participants decide on a minor - Business Administration or Economics. Graduate of the program have comprehensive understanding of economic processes and this is the reason why they are wants in positions that require both culture and economics competence. Optionally, graduates can pursue an academic career.
