The degree program “Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in Business and Economics`` offered by the University of Mannheim teaches students not only mathematical fundamentals and methods, but also how to put mathematical problems of various types into economic perspective. The focal point of the program is placed on applied fields, for example stochastics, optimization and mathematical finance.
