Description
The program “Master of Arts in Media and Communication Studies: Digital Communication” offered by the University of Mannheim put an emphasize on the digitalization and all changes that come with it, in a research-based curriculum. The focal point of the program is set on the research into the social and psychological effects caused by the digital transition. The University introduces every year two new areas of focus that are based on the latest digital communication developments. In the framework of a two-semester research project, students also expand their knowledge in theory of media and communication studies. Depending on personal interest, participants can choose their own specializations such as Literary Studies, History, Political Science and etc. Graduates can build a career in many media-related fields, such as journalism, public relations, market research, and etc.
