The program “Bachelor of Arts in Political Science`` offered by the University of Mannheim provides a comprehensive education about all areas of Political Science. The structure of the program is divided into a core subject and supplementary modules. The focal point is put on Political Science, in which classes students are taught the basis in the area. The module consists of introductory modules and advanced ones, which emphasize on four sectors: international relations, comparative politics, political sociology, and methods and statistics. The supplementary modules are compound of development module, in addition to which there is an internship, and social skills module. In collision with their interests, students can attend classes in media, informatics, or a foreign language, and a minor. Graduates of the program can reach up to members of the German parliament, or at non – governmental organizations. Optionally, they can work in the area of Public Relations, Media, or in Business.
