The program “Freiburg Opera Studio” at the Freiburg University of Music offers a four-semester postgraduate education. This innovative program provides students with the opportunity to gather professional experience at the Freiburg Opera. The purpose of this course is to prepare students for predominantly opera career. Thanks to the collaboration between the university and the Freiburg opera, students can both study at the university and attend performances at the opera. Throughout the course, students will receive guidance and instruction from professors, and they will have various auditions, participation in a gala concert in the theatre, and many other opportunities. In addition, students receive a scholarship from the university, hence there are no tuition fees as long as they are postgraduates.
