The four-semester program “Master of Music in Music” at the Freiburg University of Music is a continuation of the Bachelor of Music program. Courses such as accordion, viola, and piano were present in the undergraduate program, but new master courses include electronic composition, ensemble singing, historical performance practice, orchestral conducting, and more. Students develop their singing skills, ear and voice training, performing on various musical instruments. Graduates thus become professionals and can find jobs in music journalism, music teachers, recording, and more other opportunities. This program can only be started in the winter, so applicants should apply for the winter semester.
